There is now quite a lot of online video material that can be used in economics learning and teaching, with either a short clip
being used in a class to break up the monotony of a lecture or to provide a springboard for discussion on a topic in a seminar, or
as an alternative source of study material for use outside class. The
Economics Network has a useful links page to some of this material, but it seems to be limited to material produced by economists for use on their courses.
Here I provide links to many other video clips from other sources, including the BBC
(and if you are willing to pay the BBC Active archive),
The New York Times, Nobelprize.org and YouTube.
The annotated links below are arranged under three headings. First are those covering material related to the Economics of the Internet
and the Digital Economy. Secondly there are some links relating to topics in econometrics and quantitative economics. Lastly there are
links to material in other areas of economics.
